Privacy Statement
The Beijing Project is a team of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Therapists and Counselors from the United States who at the request of the Chinese government have been invited to train psychology teachers from 56 leading Universities in Beijing.

The reason is the growing suicide rate of Chinese University Students and eruption of mental health problems. The suicide rate is so high the figures are not released.

Realizing they have a crisis on their hands, the Chinese turned to us for help.

Our training covers the spectrum of psychology issues and is based—on Christian values! These values appear to be intuitively appreciated by the Chinese psychology teachers. They realize that religion and counseling are intertwined in the United States.

The Expected Impact ...

Our goal is to train hundreds of different Chinese psychology teachers 3-times a year. Each year a teacher counsels approximately 100 university students and teaches a minimum of 700. In two more years, the total number of students exposed in some form to our values-based curriculum will be in the hundreds of thousands. The student population in Beijing is over one half million!

The Tasks At Hand ...

This is a major undertaking and the needs are great. We are rapidly trying to find individuals and organizations that can help support us in our efforts to produce translated curriculum materials, video instruction clips, and web site resources. We must also enable our American psychology training teams to procure financial support.

We can only do this with your help!
